Please answer me as soon as you can

A-DESIGN

Hi,

I have the following problem with my pc since last week ,what ever I did
like uninstalling the firewall and anti virus and I couldn't fixed it.

I have win xp sp2-p4-1.6GHZ-512MB RAM

Problems:
1- computer is getting freeze for 10 seconds every 30 second then working
normally with good speed then is getting freez again and so on.
2- hard drive led is always on but I can't hear any reading or writing.
3- cd rom is not coming out although there is no cd on it
4- I can't see the content of my files and drives on explorer

I checked the hard drive with hard drive checking utility,every thing is
fine.
I did check to see if I have any kind of virus ,every things is okay.

Please help me to fix this problem.

SNAFU was in the WORD spell-checker, FUBAR isn't, I think

You were very demanding and stated you wanted an answer fast. You didn't say
it had to be pertinent to your problem (-:

Next time, don't be so demanding. Take a number, like in a bakery, and be
satisfied when you get an answer. You are not the only one who has problems!

I didn't want to demanding , what I meant was, if someone knows the answer,
respond as soon as possible, that's all ,and I am okay with the answers that
I got although wasn't actually the answer to my problem. :-} "see how I am
happy"...
Anyway I think I fixed the problem, the problem was coming through the mouse
driver which wasn't work properly when I replaced the mouse every things
backed to the normal.

FWIW
Software such as firewalls, antivirus and AOL are some of the meanest
to uninstall. What I do when people bring this kind of problem to me.
I put all of their data into my documents. Then I copy my documents
to
a spare HDD that I have laying around. USB is the most efficient.
Then I just reinstall.
