playing powerpoint executable on dvd player

Does anyone know how to take a powerpoint presentation and convert it to a
format that will play on a dvd player?

The subject line says "executable", but you don't mention that in your question.
Since an executable requires a computer I'm not sure whether you mean that you
want to view the presentation on a computer or on a TV connected to a DVD

sorry -- i want to be able to record a pp presentation to a dvd and play on a
dvd player. do you know if this is possible?

If you have a home DVD recorder (Prices dropping all the time!)... and a TV_out socket on your computer/laptop and some
cables....and a blank DVD.... record it directly

This is possibly the most common question and there are many opinions,
You can just have a try with the PowerPoint2DVD software at
http://www.powerpoint-to-dvd.com.
It's a good application that does it well too.
