playing AVIs on WMP 9.0

how can i make windows media player play all my avi
movies, it only plays some of them. my email address is
(e-mail address removed) thanks for the help!
 
It is likely the ones that won't play are divx movies. If
you go to www.divx.com, you can download the divx 5.03
codec for free. If that still doesn't work, search on
google for SLD codec package or Ace Mega codec package.
