Is there a way to control the volume of the music i am
ripping from cds to my hard drive. Each cd seems to have
a different volume level. I'm loading this music to my
computer at work to listen to at a low level. But from
one song to the next the volume is completely different
and it has me constantly scrambling to turn up so i can
hear it or turn it down so others don't hear it. I was
wondering if i could control this better. Thanks.

The problem i'm having is with the wma files that are copied from a cd using
windows media player....mp3 trim can't do anything with those. Is there
anything i can do with wmp to control this volume when copying the cd to my
hard drive?

Not when you COPY, then you are only making duplicates. You'll have to run them thru a trimmer firs
such as MP3Trim, or you can download a sound synthesizer at below URL that are either shareware for freeware
Just type "sound synthesizer" (without quotes) in the Search block and you'll find dozens

Music will do that. You point it to the songs that need leveling and
presto, they all have equal output.
