Play random files

Looking for a freeware to play random files. The idea is to have Powerpoint
files, MyAlbum files, Mediator files, etc and have this program run them in
a random order.

One program that can "play" files of any format? Interesting, but I
doubt you'll ever see it.

Well, Windows Explorer can do that. You should try it, Al.

It is an odd request, IMHO. Odd enough for me to doubt that such a
freeware is already available.
The 'Start' command within a cmd script lets you run a file with its
associated program.
If you would need it enough, alt.msdos.batch.nt might be of help in
getting files to run in succession, in random order.
