Play a sound upon new mail arrival

I have a mail-enabled public folder which I have access to. I would like to
set up a rule so a sound is played every time a new message arrives.

I can't seem to find any documents stating how this is done.

Is this at all possible?
 
You can't do this natively you'll need an Add-In.

This can be done natively in Office and for FREE! Go to
office.microsoft.com and click on the Check for updates link on the left
hand side. There should be a link to the downloadable add-in from that
page. I would attach it here but I don't think it's appropriate.

NOTE: The downloads section of the office website seems to be down at the
moment. But keep checking back. The add in is there.
 
Please do provide the link as I haven't found this free tool for any version
of Outlook.
