Place date in tray - how?

Is it possible to show/place the date in the tray beside the Time?

Google is your friend: "date in tray" ...
 
Right-click the task bar and unlock it. Grab the top of the bar and
increase its height. If you give XP more room, it will add the date and day
to the display. Keep increasing the height until you see time, date and
day. Set the bar to hide automatically so it'll get out of the way when not
in use - that way it doesn't matter how tall it is. Lock the bar again so
you don't inadvertently resize it again.
