pivotchart type change --> access crashes

Hello,

since a week I have a problem with pivotcharts (I have Access 2003). When I
make them there is no problem, but when I try to change the chart type, I get
an error message: "Microsoft Access has encountered a problem and needs to
close" It also appears when I select the "commands and options". Has anyone
seen this problem before?

Have you recently installed Service Pack 3 for office 2003? If so, there are
a number of issues that crop up similar to the one you have.

You may have to install the SP3 Hotfix found at
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/945674

Take a look at the issues that have been addressed on this hotfix and decide
if it will benefit you?????

thanks for your help,

I already had a bad feeling it might be SP3 which was recently installed. I
just downloaded the hotfix and will check if it works. The problem pops up
for some charts and some not, so I will try for 2 days and if nothing crashes
anymore the hotfix has helped. Otherwise I'll post again on this message
board.
