Pivot Tables

My pivot table is returning 0 to some of the criteria,
whereas the correct number is return for other criteria.
0 is an in-correct answer. When i drill down on the
correct answer the information is right orientated, when
i drill down on the 0 (incorrect answer) the information
is left orientated. However, the source data is formatted
and orientated uniformly. The orienatation is the only
difference that i can see between the two lots of info.
Hence two questions:
a) would the answer in the pivot table be influenced by
the orientation
b) how can this be remedied

One thought, perhaps the data for the "0" values are
actually "text" rather than "numbers".

Try the "=ISNUMBER()" test on all of your data.
