Pivot Table newbie here......I have a workbook that has the sheets labeled by
6 countrys so i do not have the country label within the sheet. Will the
current sheet be part of the field list to set it up or will i have to
include a new column called country? Also, is it possible to do one pivot
table with the fields from all sheets at one time for consolidated results?

Hi

No, the PT will not pick up the sheet name. You would need to insert a
new column, with he country name copied down for each row of data.
When the PT is used to work with data from Multiple Sheets, the results
will probably not be as you might expect.

Having added your Country column, I would be inclined to copy and Paste
all data to another sheet, with each block of data immediately below the
preceding block (with only one set of headers of course). Then apply the
PT to that set of data.

For more help on consolidating Multiple ranges take a look at Debra
Dalgleish's site.

To be clear on this, I need to enter another column in each sheet identfying
the country since the PT will not pick up sheet name. Then after all sheets
have the extra column, copy and paste each block of data from each sheet on
to a separate sheet ensuring all columns are uniform in order and name. Then
apply PT to this new sheet.....is this correct?

Hi

Yes.
The order of the data on the master sheet is unimportant.
Provided each set of data has the extra column which determines which
sheet it came from, this column can be used as a filed within the Pivot
Table.
