Pint Prices?

Last night I spent a night out in Newcastle - and I was surprised at the prices of a pint where I was! In Manchester I am paying £1.10 - £1.30 at Wetherspoons or student bars... but last night it was £3.50 for a tiny little bottle! :crazy:

Bring on student bars!
 
Reminds me of the old Tommy Cooper joke about the guy who complains to the doc: ''It hurts when i lift my right like this''

...DOC: ''Well don't do it then''.

I was in a small pub not far from my village last weekend...2 pints of bitter just over £5 and i thought that was expensive!
 
Local prices here average £1.80 a pint.

Glastonbury Festival prices £2.50 a pint.

The Astoria Venue Prices - £2.00 per 500ml can.

Home brew prices, about 35p a pint :D
 
You're talking about beer, right? Us Canadians aren't used to all your english talkin', eh! :P
