Pinnacle DC10-Plus card won't install

I replaced the mobo in my computer with an exact duplicate due to
problems with the original. After putting the various PCI cards back
into the replacement mobo - sound card, modem, video card, USB-2.0, and
the DC10+. Upon firing up the computer, they all worked fine except the
DC10+.

The system sees the card but tells me the drivers aren't installed. The
DC10+ XP drivers are still there in the Pinnacle folder, but the
hardware wizard keeps telling me it can't find the software even when
directed to that folder.

The card was working flawlessly with the original mobo and a second one
that I tested besides the current mobo. I've installed it several times
before with no problems. I'm really stumped.

Running XP Home.

Any assistance will be appreciated.

first thing I would do is check the card in another machine.

That's what I ended up doing, after a fashion. Different mobo -
actually the one I had used previously, and it worked fine again.

There is always the "Card Slot" Problem.
Your "new" computer should have been put togeather EXACTLY the same as the
"OLD" one.
Then the Bios of the MB should have been the same level.
Then the cards should have been activated in the same order as the "old" MB.
All of this to assure that the proper Assignments were made by the
motherboard/bios/OS.
Lots of Luck.
