Hi, I've been using PTFB for some time now and looking through your
latest Hlp file reminded me where I got the rec from long ago.
Thanks. It's saved me thousands of annoying mouse-clicks.

Are you aware that this small utility has now gone from freeware to
chargeable and has some additional functions built into it, possibly
to justify the charge :-(

I'm glad you found it useful. It is really a handy program...dandi too
:)

Yes, I am, thanks. I suspect there are copies of the old, free version
floating around - quite possibly at Pricelessware - but if not and even
if nothing was changed it is a program I would find worth purchasing.
YMMV

I agree. Fortunately I've still got my original download copy of
v1.06.3 for installing on new PCs occasionally :-) I might have
a sniff about to see if there's a later free version knocking about.

I was searching some time ago for that kind of utility. Posted here
and was pointed to PTFB. The freeware version is available at PLW, but
I ended using RtvReco. It is crippleware, but it is tinyer than PFTB
(only 172 kb) and is perfectly usable even when used in cripple mode
(which only limits to 5 the dialogs to monitor simultaneously). Here
is how the site describes the status of the program:

Pricing and Download

RtvReco is shareware, which means you can try it before you buy it.
You only need to register RtvReco if you find it useful, and in any
case if you wish to setup more than 5 dialogs or windows to search for
(the unregistered version is limited to 5 windows). You can register
RtvReco at the Sw-reg.com website, by clicking here. The cost to
register is just £10 ($15-$20 approximately).

RtvReco is distributed in ZIP format, which means you need to be
able to unzip the file once you've downloaded it. The easiest way to
do this is to download WinZip by clicking here.

I'd try this in cripple mode instead of purchasing the pay version
of PTFB.

The program is available at
http://www.clearlight.com/~rtvsoft/RtvReco.htm

Kind regards
