I periodicaly get e mailed pictures from a niece in Florida. Lately when I try to save the pictures they won't save. When I click on save the file comes up with a name such as( bitmap jpe) or (mobmain jpe). Instead of jpe the file name should be jpg. What is the problem and how do I fix it?

One thing you might try is to rename the file. For example:

Original filename: xxxx.jpe

Rename to: xxxx.jpg

One thing you might try is to rename the file. For example:

A jpg, jpe, jpeg are the same thing. Just different abbreviations.
