Pictures not being displayed on websites

On many sites I visit, I cannot view the pictures. It was ok yesterday and I
have done system restore, but the problem still exists. Any help will be
greatly appreciated. I'm new to computers and this is really annoying!
 
I have the same problem and have been trying to find an answer online for
days.. with no luck. Hope someone here has the answer.

Browsers, newsreaders and ISP's block content that can contain viruses etc.
