Pictures in Signatures

I have created a signature and inserted a picture, but it doesn't show when I
write a new e-mail, there's only a box with a red cross. Why??
 
I have tried everything. I have also read that a lot of other people have the
same problem, but i haven't found a suggestion I haven't already tried. Won't
work!?

When you open the htm-file of your signature in a HTML editor make sure
you've set a relative path to the picture and that the picture is also in
the Signatures folder. If it still doesn't work see if it works when you
place the picture on a webserver and refer to the picture with an URL.
