pictures blurry

Whenever I download pictures or even look at pictures on
my monitor, they are blurry and "blocky" What I mean by
blocky is it looks as though the picture was put together
by blocks but blurry. How can I correct this?
 
Look into an updated graphics driver, go to the manufacturer's web site and look
around.

What is your color setting? (R-click desktop-->Settings--
Settings tab-->Color Quality)

Some monitors allow you to set things at 256 colors,
which would make images very blocky... Use 16-bit or 32-
bit instead.

Just a thought. Easier to fix than a driver search and
download! Good luck.
