pictures automatically opening when going to web site

When I go to certain web sites such as Coloproperties.com to view property
for sale, the pictures of the houses will not load. On my desktop pictures
will automatically pop up but I can not figure out how to make my lap top do
it.

What browser - Internet Explorer?

I downloaded Java2 Runtime Environment SEv1.4.2-03 and it still did not work.
Do I need someother software. What do you recommend and how do I get it? Is
it a purchase software?
 
That is where I downloaded it from and I tried a 2nd time and it told me I
had the most recent version.
The pictures still will not load. Could it be some setting I have on my
computer that is blocking it?

Java v.1.4.2-03 is not the most recent version. Here is a link to the
manual download. From Add/Remove programs remove the J2SE Runtime
Environment version that's installed, download this most recent version
manually, then install it.
