When i start my computer, before it loads the operating system (Xp home
edition), a picture is loaded on the screen. How can i take that off?

There are several loads.
The picture that appears before the desktop : Log-In Screen
The picture that appears before Log-in screen : Boot-Screen
The picture that appears before Boot Screen : BIOS Screen

You can change Login and boot screen but not the BIOS one

It is after the loading of the bios but before loading the operating system.
And how do i change the Boot screen?

I never heard of a screen that come after BIOS before XP Boot.

www.themexp.org is a very good site for Boot S, Logins, Wallpapers, Screensavers
etc...
If you have StyleXP , it is best but if not Download "LogonUIBootRandomizer". I am
using that "LogonUi....." and with no problems and easy to use. I tried BootXP and
some other but they make the Boot screen look rubbish but this application left it
intact.

WARNING : Sometimes (Actually, manytimes), when you download stuff from themexp.org
and if the file in exe format, you have to install those Adwares but after that you
can remove them. I am just telling this if you don't like Adwares, don't download any
EXE files. If the file is in zip format, it contains only the theme.
