Picture quality in Movie Maker

I am using pictures in my movie that I scanned with a resolution of 600 dpi.
When I open the pictures they have a good quality but when I add them to my
storyboard the quality becomes poor. How can I solve this?

Start by going to the MovieMaker newsgroup, and let them know which
version you are using.
