Is it possible to set all my users to default to using
Picture Manager as their .jpg, .gif, .bmp, etc file
viewer? Can I do this with Policy? How? Please help,
thanks

I am using 2000 server, XP workstations, and office 2003

Office Picture Manager...Start, Programs, Office Tools,
Picture Manager, it is a step up from xp image and fax
viewer in my opinion.

The first step is to see if the software actually runs on the
other ID's. If it works properly, I would think all you have
to do is go into folder options from the control panel,
select the "file types" tab and scroll down to the file
extensions you're interested in (jpg, tif, etc, etc)
Click change and select "picture viewer" as the program to open them.

But that is the whole point, I can't possibly go around
and log in as every user and do that. That is a user
setting. I have to be able to do it with group policy not
from folder options.
