When I save a picture using Save Picture As, on Washingtonpost.com, it
downloads in the form of a notepad text document showing an encrypted message
describing the picture. Nothing will open the picture except the ACDSee for
Windows program. Copying to paintpad does work. I am on AOL. Uncompressed is
checked. Same situation on AOL browser and Internet Explorer. What's up.
Thanks for any help.

Yves suggested the following freebie for
capturing screen shots...it works very well.
I tried it on the site you quoted and it works.

I have it set so all I have to do is:

1) Press...PrintScreen...
2) Drag a box around the content I wish to save...
3) Press enter...
The shot is immediately saved as a .jpg in a
folder of my choice.
