Picture / Image, behind data ????

Hi,

I have an image question. In MS Word, you can set up
a picture to be displayed behind text. Why can't you do
this in Excel. I would love to have certain images behind
cell data. Is there a way to do this??????

Hi Chris, the only way I know is to have a picture
displayed when you hover over the cell, as follows.

Select cell, right click and insert comment.
Right click on cell cross hatching and select format
comment.
Color and Lines tab, select fill color drop down arrow.
Select fill effects at the bottom.
Select picture tab and on this box select picture will
allow you to insert a picture of your choice.
Hope that this helps. I guess it depends on what you are
trying to achieve...
