When I send email with a .jpg file attached the recipient
sees a filename with .dat added to it. Also, it comes in
5 or 10 times. For example: filename.jpg.dat [1/5], then
[2/5], etc. I am able to send text file attachments
without problems. What is happening and how do I correct
it?
Thanks

Are you talking about Outlook or Outlook Express? Rightclick all the e-mails
(from 1/5 to 5/5) and choose Combine and Decode

Outlook Express
OK. It works. The large file was being divided up into
separate files. They aren't neccessarily received at the
same time. They weren't recombining automatically. I
deselected the "break up files" box under
tools/accounts/advanced and the whole file gets sent. I
reselected the box and a file gets broken up and
recombined automatically.
Thanks for your help.
