Tonight I had a rather rare oppertunity to have a flight in a small Piper Warrior III plane!

I took my digital camera to take some photos which I thought some of you might find interesting

I'll attach each one as a reply, as I can only post one picture per post

Great stuff

Good pic's Ian but I'm a little confused as to why you need to post individually?

Is there no space left on the server? :P

I would have put them all in one post, but there is only one attachment per post, so four pics = four post etc... Its a pain, but it works :)

Your just being lazy

Ian, you make a folder on the "host", call it "images" ... upload those images/pic's/music ... then just, err, post em.

I think you could do with a couple of days off.

and this one you can "click" on it. ;)

I know, but if I did that it would spoil my neat host directory structure ;)

I still say you is lazy

Ian, the only reason I got a "real" host was so I could post loads of pic's. :D

Nice pix Ian

That must have been a very enjoyable evening :)

Mucks: Leave a poor boy alone ;)

I'm jealous - I haven't lown for over 5 years now :) The last time was gliding off sutton bank, that was great fun :D

Wow, I've never been gliding - what was it like?

I've flown some Cessna 180s before, and some 175s. Loved it. Ooh, and that turn you're making over the water seems banked at quite an angle. :)

Yup, almost perpendicular to it ;) I'm not the most delicate flyer once I'm over water ;)

Great fun... in was a plane launch as the weather wasn't great so we didn't stay up for long :)

Really weird not having the engine noise, but not as quiet as you might think.

Sutton Bank was great though (only time I've been there) - you launch of the edge of the 1000ft drop so takeoff is a little more spectacular than normal ;)
