Photostory 3 giving me problems importing photos

I just downloaded Photostory 3 and installed it on the computer, however when
I attempt to import my photos the program just drops back to my desktop. Is
this a bug in the program or am I doing something wrong?
 
Have you fixed this problem? Can you explain how you are importing the
photos?
