Photofiltre 5.4 (English help)-direct install over previous version?

Please advise if I can directly install the 5.4 (English help) version over
ver 5.3, or will I have to uninstall the latter first?

Yes you can, I did it too.. With the bonus of not having to resque any
aditional texture, selection or photomasque files
