Photo Story 3 is a recent release by Microsoft. Would it be possible to
incorporate a short slide show created in Photo Story 3 in a Power Point
presentation?

Assuming that PhotoStory can export/save as a video format like WMV, MPEG1,
or AVI, then yes. Just use Insert/Movie/From File.
