photo release form

I would like to see a new template added, "photo release form" so that I may
obtain legal rights for the pictures I take at my client's homes to publish
on my website and for other marketing materials.

I was wondering if you could help us out with something that's been a
bit of a mystery. We've been seeing a lot of suggestions for templates
in the newsgroups and several of us have been trying to figure out
where you were and what link you used to get you here.

The newsgroups are more for answering questions about the application
and the link Suzanne provided you is the best method for template
suggestions since those who add to the Template Gallery monitor those
suggestions.

If you could provide us with the details of how you arrived here that
would be great and it would help us out a lot! Also now that you're
here, welcome to the newsgroups and if you have any application
specific questions we'd be happy to help you out. :-)

Sorry about that - I had no idea I was posting to a newsgroup.

I was in the template section:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/results.aspx?Scope=TC&Query=photo+release

On that screen, on the far left of the page, at the very bottom it says,
"Still Can't Find It?", and below that is a link, "contact us":
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus.aspx?Sitename=3&Type=2&QueryID=deE6oNeR50

If you select 'contact us' it takes you to a page where you can select,
"Make a Suggestion", when selected, it takes you to:
http://www.microsoft.com/office/com...ffice&pt=3a4e9862-cdce-4bdc-8664-91038e3eb1e9

It is from that last page that I requested/asked for a photo release
template to created.

I hope that helps. If I forgot a link, let me know and I'll resend.

Thanks,
Kerri

Thanks. This is very helpful. We suspected that users were somehow getting
from the "Suggest a template" link into the NGs, but this specific path will
help us escalate the issue to Microsoft. There is a Make a Suggestion link
on the main page of the Office Template Gallery that takes you to
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/suggestions.aspx?Sitename=3&Type=2. That
page actually allows you to send suggestions directly to Microsoft and I
think in the case of templates is much more likely to be effective than a
"Suggestion" post in the Office Communities. I'll see what I can do about
getting this fixed.

Hi Kerri,

Thank you so much for letting us know how you got here. Your
information has really helped a lot. I've been all over those pages
reading everything, clicking every link and of course after you
provided the steps you used it makes perfect sense now.

I will pass this information along so hopefully they can make some
changes in order to direct template suggestions to where they'll
actually be seen by the Template Gallery folks. (Did you resubmit your
suggestion using the link Suzanne provided?)

Also, if you were wondering, the "Make a Suggestion" wizard is for
suggestion new features and such for the application. I noted the
description of the wizard includes the text "Office Online features"
so I can see how that can be confusing. The Suggestion wizard is
relatively new and it looks like it could stand some tweaking...

Thanks again for your information! :-)
