Photo Gallery and the Color - HELP PLEASE!

I will open a photo in the photo gallery application and the colors are not
correct. Even the white/grey background seems to have a beige filter over the
viewing area. This does not happen with any other applications that I own. If
I were to open the same photo using Internet Explorer or Media Center, these
same photos appear fine. If you would like to see a screen shot to show the
difference I could provide one.

This worked for me:
Go to colormanagement and delete all profiles. On the Advanced tab, set
all options back to System Default.

Control Panel > Color Management

What ICC color profile are you using?

Does your monitor manufacturer have a color profile for your monitor.

Some people have corrected this problem by changing their color profile.
