Any recommendations for an easy to use photo editor to change some gif
files I have. I only want to do basic edit work such as changing the
text on the picture.

Thank you.

mspaint.exe, it's in the Accessories folder on your start menu.

Or right click a picture and select Edit and Paint will open.

This is an excellent, elegant, very simple, very small photo
editor/screen capture program. It's literally small enough
to fit on a diskette (1.4)

The easiest version to use is Lview Pro 1.D2/32, which is
now not commercially available (it's probably 10 years old.)

However, I just obtained permission to distribute it for
free, with a key.

If you are interested, post your e-mail address and I'll
happily send you a zipped copy of it.

I'd be happy to post the zip, but I've had some negative
feedback about posting software in here.

The other option would be to do a search for the Lview Pro
1.D2/32 version on the web, and then I'd happily provide you
the serial.

I have Irfanview, and I like Lview Pro better.
Plus, I don't think one can have too much good software.

Good luck!
