photo compression

I used to be able to right clieck on photos, selct email
to a client and the phtos would compress, and the email
would open. Now it starts to compress the photos and the
email doesn't open at all. I tried fix and repair and it
did not work. Anyone have a solution? I want to send out
Christmas photos to family. Thanks, bob
