phantom expenses.field1 prompt

I have a form that has a text box for a company and then a subform with every
purchase from that company on it. I hadn't touched any of the properties or
anything, just added records on the subform. The next time I opened it I got
a prompt for expenses.field1. I hunted for the field on design mode but
couldn't find any references *I once had a field1 but that has been a while
and it has been working fine*. This is actually the second time this
happened. Both times I just went back to backups but does anyone know what
could be happening? I hadn't touched anything structurally about it..

Not sure if this is the problem but a mate of mine called me with a simlar
problem recently.

Open the query that runs the form and check the "filter" - it's on the
General properties box.

Also check the filter on the form
