PFN_LIST_CORRUPT

When trying to reinstall XP with a recovery disk, at about
the 20% spot I get the BLUE screen, and it says
PFN_LIST_CORRUPT.
And stops...... Any ideas??

In order to successfully use a computer manufacturer's Recovery CD,
you must return your computer's hardware configuration to the same
hardware configuration it was the day you first purchased it. This
means you must remove any hardware upgrades, such as a new video
card, sound card, USB PCI card, etc. Also, disconnect all hardware
peripheral devices except for the monitor, keyboard and mouse.
