I want to access my Outlook personal folders (pst file) remotely using
a web browser only but I also want to avoid the extreme
cost/headache/bloat/hassle of using Exchange Server and OWA (Outlook
Web Access).

Anyone know of an addin/tool/gizmo/utility that does this on XP?

Not sure what you mean. You want to remotely control a PC? Or just have some
utility that will load a pst and display it in a web browser remotely?

Sue: I had already previously checked out your brilliant site (and the
link in your post) for an Outlook client util that would allow remote
http access to a pst file, but without success. If you have any other
links/ideas, I am a grateful recipient!

barry: the latter (i.e. not remote control the whole PC) - basically
OWA (Outlook Web Access) for one. Most modern versions of 32 bit
Windows OSs (some NT, 2k and XP) include http servers - what I am
looking for is a simple http based app that would allow me to access
Outlook data (calendar, contacts, e-mails, etc...) over http - i.e use
a web browser to access my pc and read local e-mails, amend contacts,
etc...
