Personal settings are resetting

I have just re-installed XP and have automatic login turned on but I have
noticed that none of my personal settings are being kept i.e the layout of
the folders, layout of outlook express, my IE homepage and a few others.

Does anyone know how I can get this working?

Run Spybot Search & Destroy.
