Personal Folders Difficulty

We are using Outlook 2000, SP 1, and mapped to a .pst file on a server. It
worked for about 3 hrs, then Outlook decided it could not open that .pst file
anymore. We have subsequently mapped to other .pst files and they similarly
would not open. Tried to repair Office, no luck. Uninstalled Outlook then
reinstalled and now we have it mapped to an uncorrupted copy of the same .pst
file with no further problems. HOWEVER, all of the other .pst files are still
mapped within Outlook and we cannot get rid of them (i.e. right-click the
Personal Folder and select close). Each time we select one of the other .pst
files, it crashes Outlook. The mappings are correct to those .pst files and
all we want to do is delete them from Outlook. Any help?

Create a new mail profile and point it to the good .pst file. And, also read
this article:

After furious head scratching, Caro asked:

Sorry - forgot the article:

Personal folder files are unsupported over a LAN or over a WAN link
