i think i have a similar problem as the "IE7 unistalling" thread. i just
installed Vista and for some reason windows installer is stuck in a loop
trying to install windows office 2003. i tried to play along and install via
the prompts but it just ignored it. tried to unistall and nothing happened. i
can not go back to a restore point because this happened from the beginning,
so there is no restore point. any and i mean any suggestions would be helpful!

i am running office 07 BETA

You dual booting to XP? Vista creates restore points for you.
Anytime you install or uninstall software and regular system
checkpoints. You have no restore points because every time
you boot back to XP and then to Vista- your restore points are
deleted automagically for you, courtesy of Microsoft.
