1. System starts
2. User selection menu displayed - select user
3. Password prompt displayed - enter password, password accepted
4. Automated log off, repeat 2. or
5. Restart computer
I tried everyrhing: safe mode, last known good configuration nothing help.
I can't make system working.
Is there any way but sytem reinstalation?

Appreciate any help,

Boot to safe mode w/command prompt only.
at command prompt type: C:\WINDOWS\system32\Restore\rstrui.exe
assuming "C" is your windows drive.

Even I select Safe Mode Prompt only, system starts windwes Safe Mode, I
can;t get commant prompt.
I could get command promt booting from windows CD, however in this case it
cant't run rstrui.
"rstrui is not recognized...."

you need repair your windows booting from your cd (in-place upgrade,
reinstallation), because your profile has corrupt, but before backup your
personal files and after need reinstall all updates to Windows

Appreciate any help,

When you bring up the Startup Menu (the one that gives you Safe Mode
and the other choices) is there an item on this menu for "Disable
automatic restart on system failure"?

If so choose that option. The Startup Menu will appear again and this
time choose Normal Startup.

You should now get a Blue Screen Of Death STOP error message. If that
happens then the contents of the BSOD including the STOP code, all 4
parameters, and any file or module names mentioned will be a direct
clue as to the underlying cause of the problem. Post that
information back here.

If this does not work, or if the option is not available on your
Startup Menu, then the only other option that I can suggest is to do a
Repair Install as per the instructions at
http://michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm

Good luck
