Perl.exe in startup?

Perl.exe in startup?

Where did this come from, what is it, and why is it in
startup?
I've seen this recently on a couple of computers in the
feild, and I'm wondering why it's there.

The path is C:\Program files\Common Files\Microsoft
Shared\Perl.exe /Lastscan

Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. I had not installed anything that requires perl.

Download and run Spybot.Hope it will fix up.
