Periodic Internet Disconnections

After installing SP2, I've began to experience connection problems.
Periodically, when I have many internet applications running, or when I have
my eMule client running, all my internet applications simultaneously
disconnect. Windows XP reports that my connection itself does not disconnect,
so it's just my applications. I'm thinking it might be the new outbound TCP
connection limiter in SP2 but I might be wrong. I also found an article in
the knowledgebase with a similar-sounding problem for Windows 2000, but I
don't remember the exact details of it. If someone could help me fix this,
I'll be greatful.

Also note that I've run some connection optimization tweaks while I still
had SP! installed. Perhaps there might be some conflicts with SP2?

Bump. I'd really like to get some assistance on this problem.

"Bump" doesn't work on Usenet. You are using the web interface, but this
is really a newsgroup.

You haven't given us enough information to get a specific answer. You've
"run some connection optimization tweaks", but we don't know what they
are. You haven't even told us how you connect to the Internet, although
I assume some sort of broadband since you are using eMule. I would look
at the eMule site for tech support and/or user forums to see if eMule
has an issue with SP2.
