PENTIUM III QUESTION

I have a Pentium III 800. I heard there is the green top and the black top.
What's the difference? I have the green top.

Also,
I have a DFI mainboard, the instructions do not state how to align the
Processor in the socket 370.
Note: I have the green top, with an arrow in one corner. With the locking
handle on the bottom I have the arrow aligned to the bottom left. Is this
correct? Is it even possible to install the processor the wrong way?
