Hi,

I have set up a small network for a friends company. I suggested they put in
a Windows 2003 server, but money is tight. So instead I put in a XP Pro
machine that would act as a peer to peer file server.

I turned off Simple file Sharing as some folder shares will need protecting
from general eyes.

The main work folders, I have the usual entries in the permissions,
\machine\Administrator, System etc and Everyone.

Thats fine, now it comse to the folders for the speciific users. There does
not seem to be any way of allowing the the user to connect to the share. When
they try and click on the share, they get the 'Access Denied' message.

So I thought that it would be a simple task of addinga user called
\'userspc'\'username, however I cannot find any way of adding that type of
entry to the Add Users. It only allows you to add users to the local machine.

Cany anyone point me in the right direction so that I can allow a couple of
remote users access to this folder.

Many thanks in advance,

Neil
