I've downloaded three virus protection programs. And each
of these programs has detected the "pe_parite.a" in one
of my hard disk drives labeled "BACKUP". And none of
these can remove the virus nor quarantine the file. And
i'm not sure if they are doing any harm or not. But my
computer is very slow when it starts up. I mean, once the
desktop comes up, I have to wait about five minutes to
use any programs because before the five minutes, they
will not start up or anything. For instance, when my
computer starts up, and the desktop comes up, I try to
run AOL. It will not start for about five minutes. And
this had never happened to me before this virused
infected my system. So, can someone please help me on
ridding this virus and/or telling me what is keeping my
computer from running right away once it is on and how I
could fix that? Any help at all is very appreciated.
