G Guest Nov 16, 2004 #3 I had a similar problem. I would get a MVB error on startup (which was very slow) and then occasionally a request to save PDFMaker.dot. When I removed PDFMAker.dot from the c:\Program Files\....Microsoft\Startup folder the problem went away.
