Hello,
This may not be the correct NG for this inquiry, however I'm not
looking to add more NG's to my platter, as I already monitor 18.
Yesterday, I bought a new scanner.
I'm running XP on a Althalon 2.0 with Office 2000 and Acrobat 5.0 (full.)
The scanner software came with Adobe Photo Elements, however I did not
install that because I have Photoshop 7.0.
Nor did I install the Acrobat Reader which came with the scanner.
Now, when even I open Word, and upon closing, I'm prompted "Save changes to
PDF Writer." At that time the Writer is open as well. This was not happening
previously.
Any suggestions as to how I can eliminate this prompt from Word WITHOUT
affecting the balance of my system?
That is leaving both the Word and the Acrobat settings as they were, prior
to the scanner being installed?
BTW, I have not attempted to create a PDF since installing the scanner.
Thanks in advance.
