For Win98 I use pdf995, for XP I use PDFCreator (was unstable on
Win98).

Anyone know if 5D PDF Creator v1.5 can be downloaded somewhere? It used
to be provided free by a UK printing company.

PDFCreator is a free & open-source product available from sourceforge:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/
Release candidate 1 is now available. I've been using it for well over
a year on Win2k and XP boxes without a problem. Works from any
application that recognizes/uses a printer.

That's what I do and I love it.
