PDA and Databases

Can anyone recommend a database type to use and/or a tutorial somewhere that
explains the ins and outs of writing a small PDA database application?

The most complete reference is Rob Tiffany's SQL Server CE Development with
the .Net Compact Framework:

Most of the other .Net Compact Framework books out there also cover SqlCe
development as a chapter.

That is great and I will surely purchase it when I return to the US, but at
the moment I am in another country and unable to receive the product. I
wanted to know if there was something available on the web at the moment
that I could learn the basics at least now.
