Hi,
I have 5 pc's (new xp pro machines) networked, all of them loose
connectivity after a short period of time. by going to network connections
and repairing the connection connectivity is restore for a short period of
time. All pC's are configured with static ip addresses, and all connect to
one switch (hub) they connected to the internet through a watchguard router
connected to an adsl router.
When connectivity is lost, the machine will not ping or tracert, Any
suggestions anybody, Im desparate!

The first - and easiest - troubleshooting step is to go to the network
adapter's Properties from Device Manager. Click on the Power Management
tab and uncheck the box, "Allow Windows to turn off this device when
not in use".
