I'm looking for information on Event ID: 7000, Source: "Service Control Manager", generating the following message:
"PCANDIS5 Protocol Driver failed to start due to the following error: The system cannot find the file specified
Registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\PCANDIS
I'll appreciate any reference to PCANDIS5. Thanks!

Hi Jose,

If you are using WiNc Manager for Windows:

Use Windows Explorer to go to your Windows/system32 directory and find the
following files: crdcfg.dll and PCANDIS5.SYS. Right click each of the files
and select properties. Under the "Version" tab, there is a version number
for the file.

If the version number for either file is not 5.0.13.50, rename the file
(give it a name like oldcrdcfg.dll or oldPCANDIS5.SYS) and reinstall WiNc.
The re-installation will cause the latest version of these files to be
installed.

Reboot your system. If it is still not working, contact support at:
(e-mail address removed)
